FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Clear answers for
busy families.
Everything you need to know about live lessons, teachers, booking and the Schoogly family portal.
Who are Schoogly lessons for?
Our courses are designed for children under 12, with different learning paths for early learners, growing speakers and confident young readers. A trial helps us recommend the most suitable starting point.
Are the lessons live or recorded?
Every Schoogly lesson is live. Your child learns with a real teacher who can respond, adapt activities, encourage speaking and notice where extra support is needed.
How long is each lesson?
A standard lesson lasts 30 minutes. This format supports focus and active participation while leaving enough time for conversation, stories, movement and repetition.
What happens during the free trial?
The teacher meets your child, introduces a few playful activities and observes their confidence, interests and current English level. Parents can then decide whether Schoogly feels like the right fit.
How do I choose and book a teacher?
After signing in, open the family portal, select an assigned teacher and view their live calendar. Choose one available day and time to reserve that specific lesson.
Can I cancel or move a lesson?
A booked lesson can be cancelled from the portal at least 12 hours before it starts. The lesson credit is returned to the account so the family can choose another available time.
Where do lessons take place?
Each booking includes an online classroom link inside the portal. Open it at lesson time, allow camera and microphone access and wait for the teacher to join.
How do lesson packages work?
Packages add a balance of 30-minute lesson credits to the family account. The portal shows what has been booked, completed and how many credits remain. Online payment will be enabled through secure Stripe checkout.
Can siblings share lesson credits?
Family packages are designed to support more than one child. The school can connect siblings to the family account and allocate lessons according to their courses and teachers.
Can I contact my child's teacher?
Yes. Assigned families and teachers can use private internal messages for scheduling questions, lesson context and progress conversations. Communication stays inside the relevant Schoogly accounts.
What equipment do we need?
A computer or tablet with a stable internet connection, camera, microphone and a modern browser is usually enough. Headphones can help in a busy home but are not required.
How do parents follow progress?
The family portal keeps lesson history, teacher notes, upcoming classes, remaining credits and messages together. This gives parents a clear view without interrupting the child's learning experience.
